AJ started showing musical prominence at a very young age. What simply started
as a fascination quickly turned into an obsession. Currently a member of two
bands, Flip Da Skrip & The Classic Blue Band, a more silent partner in Danger
Zone Ent. and the lone wolf of Twiztid Mind Productions, which is affiliated
with the many facets of J.B.A. (Jersey Born Assassins).
He started his rap production ca...reer at the tender age of 15. Armed with just a Korg X3 keyboard and an 8-Track recorder, AJ, JAG & Da Writer took to the streets. After recording their first demo "Young Don Juan" he realized that this is what he wanted to do for the rest of his life. After that he slowly started building a catalog which now includes 4 instrumental albums, 3 mixtapes, and 2 EPs.
Mainly producing jazzy soulful hiphop in the vein of a new age A Tribe Called Quest, lately he's seen his work reflect the personal aspect of his relationships. With his forthcoming "The Friend Zone" he hopes to bring those emotions across to a new audience.
He's also a mainstay with the Defective Clones crew and frequently collaborates with BBE's Kid Lucky & Grey Matter when they throw their "Hip Hop Subway Series", a self proclaimed "Underground Subway Party!". Also a frequent collaborator with Kamikaze Picnic, who is currently on a mission to release 100 albums in his lifetime.
