You might not think you know who Aj is, but believe or not you do. Do you like the Neptunes? Kanye West? Timbaland? Lil Jon? Just Blaze? Swizz Beats? Well throw all of those people in a pot, shake it like a polaroid picture, and out comes Aj. A young producer/rapper out of East Orange, New Jersey, he's trying to take the game by storm. You might of heard him on tracks with Jersey Born Assasins affiliates JAG & Tyght. You might have heard him on tracks with Danger Zone affiliates Dutch & Dirtybird. But wherever you heard him at there's no mistaking this kid has got style and talent. Starting at a young age Alban Lewis Jones Jr. aka Aj has always been possessed with the gift of music. "I can't remember a time when he wasn't banging on a pot or singing along to the radio.", says his mother Karoline Bethea-Jones. He started out very young playing the drums. Then from there he began playing the trumpet at his elementary school, Washington Academy Of Music. Then on his way up he picked up the keyboard out of sheer fascination. And from there he's been making music every day and every night.

He joined up with Jersey Born Assasins in 1998. J.B.A., as the crew calls themselves, is made up of JAG, Tyght, Murk, D-Ca$h, Mike, A.G.O.N.Y., Jason and some close friends. (He says J.B.A. is more like a movement so we can't even really name everybody there is, but those are the main members in the crew.) He joined up with Danger Zone in 2004 which made up of Dutch, Dirtybird, Young Dame, B, and Moses. He met up with Danger Zone in the church and in school. He went under the alias of Quazar during the beginning of J.B.A. but soon switched up to his real persona, he says everybody he knows calls him Aj, in order to evolve. He currently is in the process of finishing his solo album Position Of Power, previously entitled Introducing..., and is working with Danger Zone on their LP. He's also apart of a three-man contemporary R&B group, Triple LQ. Triple LQ is comprised of Tony "Lust" Ward and Eric "Luvable" Bailey. Triple LQ, or LLLQ, stands for "Let Life Live Quietly."
